    This is the revolver I got at the aution a couple weeks ago. I sent an e-mail to S&W asking what it is and history. etc. Anyone want to take a stab.

    It's a rough guess. I'm probably wrong. Those grips are aftermarket, too. They look to be Farrant grips. Martin Milner used them on Adam-12 on a S&W Model 14.

    bottom- S&W Military and Police revolver with 5 inch barrel - circa 1941

    Top- S&W model Victory - military WW2 production with 5 inch barrel

    first shot it didnot eject the hull. I think it was cause I was using the el cheapo Winchesters, they gave me trouble with my 870 a few time so I think thats the prob.
    I switched guns after the hull didnt eject and did well with the over/under w/ a to long length of pull for me. 22. obtw, I hit the clay with that thing so it can't be to bad.
    Later I wanted to see how it would pattern at about 20 yards out from the trap house. It patterned very well and it even ejected the hull so I think its gunna be ok. I got a feeling that it will do very well in Turkey shoots. I might try to find one this weekend.

    I'm going up to SLCFSA tomorrow w/ Tzoid. I think I'm going to try it out. Wish me luck.

    well I shot my revolver today. It funtions well and accuracy is a s good as to be expected. We were at 7 yards off hand. Still a solid revolver. :thumbsup:
