I am new to hunting, have wanted to go hunting (deer, goose, turkey for years) I just don't want to go by myself for the first time, I was wondering if anyone on here would mind taking me out and teaching me some things for goose/turkey seasons as its too late for firearm -deer) ? At the very least, any helpful information would be nice.

I have hunted on the shore for over forty years. Mostly geese and a few deer. I have hunted with hundreds of people and in my lifetime I have had only two hunting partners (not counting my kids), one past and one present.
The hours I spent hunting with these guys has truly enriched my life.
The guy I hunt with now I met in my church 10 years ago so you never know.
What county do you live in?
    Good Luck

Do you have your hunter safety course under your belt?

Have you been practicing shooting bird shot at moving targets? Such as trap, skeet or sporting clays.

The reason I ask is because you have a whole year to get ready for next season.

I have no problem taking newbies hunting but I need to know they can handle a firearm for my own safety.

    duck hunting I would say

    Keep on practicing.

Not sure if I will be able to get out next year to hunt.

I would ask next August if anyone has room for a newbie to hunt with them.
