So, I've had a bug for shotguns lately. I wanted one from each of the big 3 American shotgun makers, Mossberg, Remington and Winchester. I mainly own Mossberg 500s, but had a 870 Police Magnum years ago but sold it. I just got this 870 Police Magnum the other day and it looks at home next to the Mossberg. I did order a Wilson Combat magazine extension for it and a NDZ high visibility low drag follower for it. It's in good condition, but has a new Mossberg replacement barrel, and scratches, presumably from being in a cruiser or storage locker I guess.

I really like those Remington speed feed stocks. So occasionally look for one from time to time...

Congratulations. The Remington 870 Police Magnum looks great. I have one too but unlike in your case, it is the only shotgun I own.

It's new, to me, but I took my Mossberg tot he range this weekend, and shot maybe 40 rounds of buckshot thru it to practice, and noticed the speed feed stock on the Mossberg started bowing out the buttpad. I don't believe it is a genuine Mossberg stock like from the 590s.

Very nice. I like simple shotguns designed for social work and that's just such a gun.
