This guy is from a car forum I get on fairly often but he's getting into the hydrographics business as well. Last I talked to him he is waiting on his FFL to be able to take possesion of firearms but for now he's doing furniture and has some really friggin cool stuff going on. He also does handguns.

There's some voodoo to the process but it involves dipping the part in some kind of powder then it get clear coated with some real hard automotive finish
and is suposed to be pretty durable. I love the reaper camo. :party29:

Here's a link to some of his stuff

I can't decide if I love it or hate it. My first thought was "cheesy", but then started imagining my 3gun shotgun fully coated in the "reaper" paint job. That would look sweet.

Do you know how durable it is?

Too bad it's not like SASS where you get a "handle." You could go as The Reaper! I didn't even think about doing that to my shotgun.

I'm pretty sure it gets an automotive clear finish after the process is done. I'm not sure if it's an epoxy or a urathane but it should be pretty durable. Shoot him an email if you have questions, he's a nice guy but he is pretty busy so you may not hear back right away. crc2jeff@gmail.com

He's also got a website and a facebook page with some other stuff he's done. http://www.crc2.net/

I think a competition gun definitely gets some extra room in the cool paint job department before it turns to full mall ninja.
