Well almost new and not quite from Annapolis - I live on the Broadneck penninsula. I joined here a few months back but never really introduced myself.
So hello to all. A bit about myself, prior military as you might be able to tell from my avatar. Was in the Army for a four year stint back in the mid-eighties. I spent a couple of years in Berlin and a couple in San Antonio doing comms work. Went to University up in Pennsyltucky (where I am originally from) and got myself a geek degree. I have been working IT ever since. I have always missed my M16 when I left the Army so I have been wanting a rifle for a long time. A year or so ago, I found the CMP and this past spring I finally ordered a Garand. LOVE IT!
