I'm also looking to get into duck or goose hunting. I've only ever hunted rabbit, turkey and deer before. I was looking at two places (marylandgoosehunting.com and blackduckoutfitters.com).

Has anyone heard of either place? Recommendations?

If anyone would like to use me for lottery fodder for a blind site, I'd be happy to help if you can teach me what the hell to do and how all this blind-site stuff works!

So what is the minimum gear that a new duck hunter would need? Some decoy's, wader's, camo clothes etc? Thanks again for everyone's input.

A gun with plug, steel shells that pattrn atleast decent, camo and waders, good clothing for the seasons.

As far as decoys, a half dozen or dozen of what you want to target as far as puddle ducks. Divers not as picky. Really all you need is one goldeneye decoy and you can have your limit in short time. The more tastey divers tend to lite to thir kind for the most part. We shot a four man limit in 25 minutes on the last day last year with a half dozen blubills.
