    the cold fury came out to $425, wowzers. Couldn't you get a decent .38 for that much money?

    You could. But, how do you sharpen a .38? :D

    Agreed, pricey. Some times you might get lucky and pick one up pre-owned for considerably less on the forums.... some times (and usually coated, though).
