    Parkerized finish.

    No arsenal stamps, and there is a slight discoloration, that's not showing up in the pics... And yes, 1944 production...

    The guy who sold it to the dealer was there, buying a WWII Walther. He confirmed it was original finish.

    The crispness of the serial # and the other markings also lead me to believe him. The refine I've seen are much less defined...
