Need help M1A1

For now using a 1928 bolt with adapter. I opted to weld a bump on the end of the adapter to hold the firing pin in place. Playing with protrusion heights and thought I was at a good height of .05 but the primers are getting destroyed and stacking in the pin. Should I try different ammo or is my pin still too high.

I had already taken it apart when I posted. I went ahead and rechecked height and made necessary adjustment. All good now with multiple ammo.
