Need help Identifying these part 1

I have three rifles that belong to a friend that belonged to his grandfather. We have NO idea that they are or what they are worth. The first is a German gun that I think is a Mauser but appears to be dated 1916. See pics. Can you help identify this rifle and its approximate value? Thanks in advance

Sporterized WW1 vintage DWM Mauser 98 with European claw type scope mount Vintage European scope. The stock looks similar to a Bishop sporter style that was popular way back when. Can't tell you who did the work. Any markings on the scope?

Sorry, can't help with value, these things are all over the place. Some are not worth much and others are. It depends on too many variables and I'm not up on them.

No worries. Just trying to get a feel for what they may go for. These are not mine, they belong to a friend and she wants to get rid of them.
