I didn't like having an arca rail attached to the bottom of my rifle for bipod attachment so I need help exploring other mounting options.

I see picatinny rail with sling stud or picatinny rail with flush cups as possible option in various lengths such as 2" or 4", etc.

What's the purpose of picatinny rail with sling stud? Is that because of wanting to use the stud for sling attachment with the bipod still attached? Because I was going to have flush cups on the stock, like on an AR15, for sling attachments so wouldn't that make the sling stud redundant?

So with that said, does it more sense having the picatinny rail with flush cup?

What other mounting options am I missing?

    Thank you for your help!
