Despite the distance and crowds, it's ALWAYS a good show to go to. Just be careful if stopping at Hooter's......:lol2:

You got it Hef. It's a 60 mile drive for me, but well worth it! I went to the very first one ever held there. Greasman and Randy Weaver from Ruby Ridge was there. I also met and shook hands with Dutch the navigator from the Enola Gay. I always wind up spending more than I intend to.

I'm taking my dad with me this time. Last event a few years back was the wife and I. Great selection of various items.

Plus it's fun to watch the DC thugs fondle the Tech9 and other guns. You know that feeling that hundreds of guns and thousands of eyes are on you...

:sad20: oh well... I guess I'll have to wait till the next show. Wife would kill me if I asked to go to Chantilly this weekend.

Tell her you are going to take her to Virginia for the weekend and just stop by on the way. I'll introduce to my wife whom I'm taking to Virginia for the weekend.

Ehh, tried that once and she got a little annoyed :) just asked me to drop her off at Tyson's corner actually. My wife doesn't mind guns, in fact she encourages my addiction, but she's just not big on crowded gun shows. I'll be around in the morning probably with my sling bag that has an American Flag and my star wars "keep calm and use the force" patches.
