I just don't understand why people believe that banning guns would bring order. Is it really so hard to understand that a criminal is a criminal because they have no regard for the law?

He's not point at the list, he's directing to the video at the bottom about how the people of Great Britain were forced to turn in all their guns because of new laws.

    Godwin's Law:
"As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1."
In modern interpretation, it is implied that once Nazis/Hitler/holocaust are mentioned, the discussion is over. While not the original intent of the 'law', it is admittedly difficult to engage in rational discussion once Nazis are mentioned.

    Even Illinois Nazis.

    Well, there is this....

"Jews are prohibited from acquiring, possessing, and carrying firearms and ammunition, as well as truncheons or stabbing weapons.
Those now possessing weapons and ammunition are at once to turn them over to the local police authority.
Firearms and ammunition found in a Jew's possession will be forfeited to the government without compensation.
Whoever willfully or negligently violates the provisions...will be punished with imprisonment and a fine.
    Berlin, 11 November 1938
    Minister of the Interior
    Frick"

It's almost always overlooked, or missed entirely, that Godwin's Law is meant humorously.

Godwin's Law of Nazi Analogies is an argument made by Mike Godwin that has become an Internet adage. It states: "As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches 1." In other words, Godwin observed that, given enough time, in any online discussion, regardless of topic or scope, someone inevitably makes a comparison to Hitler and the Nazis.

    That having been said:

We don't need another civil war, impending as it may be.

Agreed. However, when you are being pushed, you have two options. Continue to be pushed, regardless of the cliff you are being pushed towards, or push back. I hope this country could be put back in the right direction without violence, and I will not strike first. That said, I will not be disarmed, I will not be abused, and I will not be a part of the death of liberty.

If they really want our guns that we law-abiding citizens bought, then there will be he11.

My hunting partner lives in NJ and sometime in the 90's you were required to sell, surrender, or register them (assault weapons i.e. AR's etc) as inoperable. In lieu of registering them inoperable (meaning you could NEVER shoot them) he took his firearms to Pa and sold them. Of course many didn't comply and therefore are in harms way if they are ever audited. The NJAWB forced many law abiding citizens to commit a crime, how friggin sad!

He could have just moved to PA. Not sure why anyone would live in NJ voluntarily.

Let me day it like so everyone is clear.

I paid good money for my weapons during a time they are legal. You WILL not force me to forfeit them. You will have to find them first.

That is what they all said in England, Australia,Canada,New Jersey,California not to mention Germany. They will come. They will come in force. They will catch you in your home with your family. Good luck with that history has given them plenty of effective models to follow and their willing minions will gladly carry it out.
