I'm looking to sell my nagant m1895 and I'm not sure what to price it at, I've checked gun broker and armslist and it seems like the prices vary from 400-1500$. I was hoping to get an idea of what mine was worth before I listed it for sale. Thanks

Current market is $550-$600 for a very nice refurb w. holster.
If it was a bring-back, w.o. import marks, then it bumps to $800 or more depending on condition. Add Finn ownership then you're in the $900 -1K range.

Speaking of these awful, AWFUL revolvers (yes, neat piece of history, but good lord are they terrible) does anyone need any Soviet surplus ammo for them? I sold mine years ago for a 300% profit and have a few leftover boxes I'd gladly give you for free. PM me if so.

It wasn't that long ago you could pick up one for $99... man am I getting old or what.
I hear you there. Maybe I should sell mine? I got them for $79/each when SOG had a sale. I also have a few tins of 7.62 Nagant ammo from SOG. RIP SOG

I pulled completed sales on GB from the last month to get current market values. Was expecting around $400-450 but most sales were a bit stronger than that.

How much is due to a badly devalued dollar and an inflated firearm market? Both are in play. Plus there's that unusual video game interest factor, something I'm totally alien to. I've watched certain arms featured in online games that are getting lots of interest from new collectors. A good thing to be sure but very much unexpected on my part.

Not sure I'd want to rely on a Nagant even in a video game. Better than a rock or a sharp stick... but not by much.
You might have saved me the effort and coin as I have been mulling over adding a bring-back 1895 to the collection. Never found the reworked imports of any interest.

If we knew then what we know now, right?
Bought three of the Nagant revolvers and three M44's, a 91/30, and an M38.

They were so cheap, I couldn't pass them up!

Even used the Nagant as my home defense gun for at least a decade.

Some of you all are going to :lol2: :lol2: :lol2: about that.

Hey if it works for you I'm not going to throw shade at you. Just saying I'm not giving up my heavily modified Combat Commander for a Nagant anytime soon. I think it's safe to say that's true of about 90% of the pistols in my collection. Nice but not up to modern standards of reliability.
