My new 1944 K31

My 1944 Walnut K31 came yesterday. The bore looks like new and cleaned up in 4 patches and there was even a troop tag under the butt plate.
I ordered it from Simpson Ltd they still have a lot in stock

I don't believe the rifle's bore was chrome lined, just well cared for. I can't remember what it's called, but the swiss had their own bore cleaner/preservative a lot like ballistol
