But I got a 1938 Tula, sweet. Matching numbers on everything except the bayo.

Looks like it is going to be a good shooter. I'm very happy.

Not sure if it was c'bored but I think it was. Looks like some machining at the end or some clean up.

Can't wait to get mine. I did select the hand pick option as well. No shipping email yet. Ordered mine on 2/10 and went back to look at the description and they were sold out. Probable got the last one.

I called them and asked about the best out of 5 hand picked option and told them they sold out after my order. Theoretically how could they pick from a bunch if they are already gone. He told me the hand picked customers get their rifles picked first (the better ones) and what's left goes to the guys that didn't select hand picked.

I also have a 1939 Tula. The one I have is in great shape too.

Still trying to wrap my head around how I ordered mine at around 9am Sunday and haven't heard a peep, but yours ordered on Monday have shipped. Is AIM using Brownell's old logic algorithm?

Are you sure? That would be really unusual in getting refurbed rifles without matching numbers. Unless the bayonet doesn't match which really doesn't matter.

I've never seen a fresh refurb from a vendor that is not matching.
