I was up at Cresap with a buddy, popping his cherry with his new AR. I brought my Garand along.

Here are some 100 yd targets. The fist is one clip of HXP:

    The second is 2 clips:

    That 6 shot grouping @ 4-5 o'clock is a lil' tight, no? :D

    Nice shooting!

Looks like you're getting that thing figured out. Looks like you can come left a click, though. Definately time to take the training wheels off your bike- I mean get off the bench, and start working on position shooting.

So when will we see you up at Thurmont?

I've got to get off my butt and finally order a CMP Garand.

Yes you do. (People are starting to talk, you know.)

That looks very interesting! Lemme see if I can get a kitchen pass for this weekend...

Will they have Garands there for sale from CMP? :innocent0

They will send you a certificate (several weeks later) saying you're qualified to get one from the CMP.

If you go, download the forms from the link. I had the liability one notarized before I went, just to be sure. The other is just a registration form. You might e-mail Kevin Lippold first with any questions.

Very informal, low key, friendly. All shooting at 100 yards, with reduced targets.

I can't make it this month or next, but I plan to be there in July, August, etc.
