My Impulse Buy

It was like buying a pack of gum or candy in the checkout line at the grocery store.. I just couldn't help myself.

I was in Xring in Newark DE doing a transfer for a .22 I sold and saw this behind the counter. Asked to hold it and that was it. $360 w/ 4 steel mags, tactical range bag, and 40 Rounds of ammo, & standard cleaning tool

I was considering buying one from AIM, J&G, or SOG, but this got me out the door for a little less, some accessories, and saved me shipping, transfer fees, and.. it was right there for the taking!

Nice find. Hard to believe how inflated the prices were this time last year. Did they have Com-block 30 round mags?

One of the mags was stamped Made in China. The guy behind the counter seemed to think it was more valuable than the other steel mags I got with the gun. All I saw were polymer mags, but I just took a quick look at what they had hanging on the wall.

I thought a dealer in another state could not sell to a Maryland resident a rifle that is regulated in Maryland. At least that's my interpretation of Federal law.
