My first deer with a rifle.

well after playing in the marsh all morning after Sika, I decided to get some lunch and check the other side of my lease out to see if geese have been landing in the fields yet, and I catch this little guy chasing 2 does. they saw me and booked it but stopped in the front field about 250 yards away. One shot from my .300 win mag and he dropped in his track which was good because he was about 10 yards from getting back into the brush. sorry for the poor quality pics they are off my camera phone. my digital camera is acting up.

thank you, he's a nice deer, he weighted 150 lb field dressed. he's a 130 inch deer. he's small from rutting for the last month, and living in the swamp half his life.
