After endless work scheduling frustrations , just came from the range we all love to hate. The Mission was T&E of multiple .40s in consideration of friend nd co-worker's upcoming purchase. Also along was his son nd my daughter.
The Kids did great., good time had by all.
In shifts we compared G22 , XDm , P250 midsize , and P226 . M&P would have been next up , and PX4 was not available in .40 .
His favorite going in was the XDm , and sure enough he did best with it. Likewise I give it good marks. I shot best with P226 , being enamored of my P225 . I really liked the trigger on the P250 , but the midsize in .40 couldn't overcome the laws of physics as far as recoil and control. The same gun in 9mm would have been just right , or a full size in .40 would have been a good matchup. I'd still personally be glad to use it as dedicated crry gun , but not the best choice for his all around pistol.
