I usually give about half my venison away. Some goes to the landowner, some to the guys at work, and I always try to push some on at least one anti-gun wingnut to further the cause.
They are still accepting deer for the feed the hungry project (or whatever it is nowadays) but I've always preferred charity closer to home.
