Just sent this to my organization's membership.
Maryland General Assembly Session 2022
Contact the Governor's Office & Request Vetoes
The Maryland General Assembly continues their assault on law-abiding citizens while ignoring the increasing criminal behavior in the state. The following bills have passed the General Assembly and will have a significant impact on the rights of Marylanders.
Euphemistically called the "Ghost Gun Bill", this bill places nebulous requirements on the private manufacture of firearms, an activity that has been legal since prior to this country's founding.
The MSRPA is requesting that all of our members contact the Governor's Chief Legislative Officer at the following contact points and demand that Governor Hogan issue a veto of both of these ill-intended pieces of legislation. Club Organizations - please feel free to forward this message along to your individual members as well - the more people we have contacting the Governor about these bad bills, the better!
These bills do nothing more than criminalize otherwise law-abiding behaviors while doing nothing to cure the epidemic of violent crime plaguing our once fine state.
