Sweeet! Im on day 36 now, hopefully anyday! Is there no limit on the purchase amount just time in between? I haven't done my paperwork yet on the AR but it may be wise to also get a Lower so I could always build an AR in the future. So on one paper I could do the full AR and a lower?

One regulated purchase per 30 days unless:
Two regulated purchases in a 60 day period
    or
    You're a designated collector.

Filed my paperwork for my glock (gen 2) on Feb. 2, guess I have more than a week to wait... FML

Considering some people are still waiting from January 18-20, I wouldn't expect to get Feb 2nd back until mid March at best, late March if wait time keeps going in the wrong direction.

I don't see things getting any better, at all. I'm now at 30 day, filed 1/27, I would say probably another week. I believe they are processing the 22nd currently.

MSP told me tonight it was about an 8 week backlog minimum. We were there 30 min, and saw 3 transfers in that time alone.

Yessir, cus I bought a pistol a day before I did the paperwork for the lowers too lol.

Becoming a collector is free. DO IT. :party29:

You make a strong argument, I'm working on the form now. But I'm confused about one thing. Do I need to get a Federal Collector's License before I can apply for the MD Collector status?

No, they are totally separate. I am a MD collector, but not a fed one. Never got around to filling out that paperwork.
