Volunteers get free admission to the show. (And there's nothing to prevent a little shopping before or after your shift.) Another thing worth mentioning, some vendors, upon seeing you have a vendor badge, will give a few $$ off a purchase. Not all vendors will do this, but it could be an added bonus for volunteers.

Lots of important things going on elsewhere, but I'm hoping someone is still reading the rest of the forum. Still plenty of volunteer times available, and did I mention you get in the show free?

I feel the need to bump this.. I did several shows years ago, I just don't have the time to do more.
Hopefully some others will volunteer. The Shows Free if you do...

For any members attending the show :

Even if you can't commit to an entire shift , you are welcome and encouraged to drop in for an hour or two to lend a hand at the booth.

A rewarding experience, and a great way to get your feet wet .

Good news is lots of traffic.

Bad news is I would have more groups of interested people than I could talk to at one time , and too many moved on with just a brochure, but no conversation.

Let's have more people step up to join Mike B tommorow, even if for short stretchs . Don't let interested people get away from us .
