Was I the only one reading the story hoping that you used the kickass mosin bayonet?

Nope. I was too.

But then he said he hit it from 7yds and we all know that is WAY too close to have been a Mosin bayonet.

Plus at 7yds the muzzle blast would have set the card on fire, so there would have only been ash left.
