It's been a while, so I thought I would update this thread. I got a thicker butt pad from a member here (Thanks, Melnic!) and ended up drilling out the holes. That seems to help. Practice also has helped with the stripper clips, last trip to the range I didn't have any problems with not feeding properly from the magazine. I did the extra cleaning of the chamber with a brass brush, as mentioned in one of the videos I wrapped a patch around the brush to finish and got a little "dirt" but nothing major. Either bolt action has improved or I'm getting used to it.
