But like the ghost gun bill, it will be tied up in courts. So far a year now on that one. In the meantime, you can become a criminal and have your life ruined or go broke defending yourself in court . Ugh.
This I doubt even in MD, it will be injuncted, the county will be made to "suffer' while it works its way through the courts.

No indeed. Thomas very clearly stated that carry in public was protected. They respond by basically banning carry in public. Children.
The MoCo Democrats that think they see the bright light of Safety From Law Abiding Gun Owners Carrying In Public coming down the tracks towards them are actually seeing Thomas The Tank Engine.

"Council President Albornoz wants the bill passed by August 26th. Every other existing Council member voiced agreement with this bill when it was introduced on July 12, 2022. We note that Council President Albornoz, and Council members, Evan Glass, Will Jawando, and Tom Huck, are standing for reelection as the County Council members at large in the Democratic Party primary on July 19, 2022. Please exercise your constitutional right to vote!" Calling all DINO's and registered Democrats in Montgomery County.

MSI is asking for people to testify at the public hearing on the 26th. Here is a link to the MSI page:

So the council knows its unconstitutional but want to look like they are safe-guarding the sheeple. And the sheeple don't understand its unconstitutional because they've not read NYSRPA.

The sheeple only know that W&C permits are going through the roof and want a law to protect them from "those people".

just my thoughts, but i don't think they're trying to "look like" anything. Their control mechanism got taken away and now they're just putting another one in place until that one gets taken away.
