Model 92 ?

I see some of our IP.s selling police trade in model 96's for really cheap. I have wanted a cheap model 92 for a while now. Can i buy a used 92 barrel and install it on a 96? Would any other parts be needed? Or is it not a workable plan at all?

The breech face is a different size, as well as the extractor. You might get it to work, or might not. Better option is to buy a new 92 slide and barrel, but for that cost you can probably find a 92. Wish I could've helped you, as I traded one cheap to gymratz before the holidays.

IP D&K had 92 Italian police trade ins but they have a heel mag release button i got one of them I don't plan on it as a carry or competition pistol so the heel release doesn't bother me
