MN rifle hunting

Does anyone watch Life above zero on national geo. They was using a Nagant rifle to hunt caribou. Would love to know what ammo they are using. Seems like ammo would be hard to get up there unless they are using surplus.

I watch the show frequently, one of my favorite NatGeo shows. Chip actually posts quite frequently over on Gunboards under the handle "Caribou".

Not sure about the ammo they use, but I wouldn't be surprised if he loads his own. Being out in the wilderness like they are, I'd want to be able to have a large stock of supplies to roll my own.
