  • I just finished what I set out to do roughly five years ago, but was afraid to start reloading on my own...
    I loaded my first .30 Army cartridge! To the purist, it is the correct load for The Springfield Krag Rifle: A .30 caliber, 220 grain round nose bullet with 40 grains of powder. Thus the current name .30-40 Krag.
    I used IMR 4350, Sierra Pro Hunters and Federal Lg Rifle Primers.

    This is XXX Krag porn for me, as I have never fired "the correct load" for these firearms. Guess who is going to Hap Baker in the morning...

    I can quit any time I want. :lol2:

    I loaded up 1500 rounds of 9mm two days before Christmas. Now on to .45 ACP.
