    wondering if there is any place where they have surplus firearm shooting groups for fun blasting? friendly competitions would be cool as well. thanks. walt.:)

    Also monthly at thurmont they have CMP matches (friendly competitions) and mosin matches.

    AGC also has CMP/vintage rifle matches and a member here (boule) is trying to arrange a vintage bolt gun match.

    fivepointstar, thanks! thats a stones throw from my house! perfect! i will try to attend as often as possible. im a member at agc in marriottsville and will try to get in on there stuff as well. walt.

    there is always SLCFSA. The Military rifle shoots are fun compitition. You shoot from the "off hand/slow fire", "prone rapid fire", "sitting rapid fire", and "prone rapid fire"
    how often do you get to do something like that.
    Its CMP regulations and affiliated.
    I did it last week with Rambo-Lambo. It was fun.:D

    oh. btw, if your shooting a Garande make sure the front site is on tight. :lol:
