My sinus infection started to clear up last night so I decided to take the wife for a drive to visit Joe at Medusa Munitions in Southern Maryland. It also help that Joe was having a 10% off sale.
Taking the back roads from Davidsonville, (staying off route 4 as much as possible) it took me an hour and 20 minutes. No big deal as the scenery and horse farms were good eye candy.
Joe's store is located in his attached garage and he had lots of good stuff at very reasonable prices. Power Pistol powder cost me $20, Sig Elite .44 Magnum ammo cost $25, Primers, which I didn't buy were in the $30 -$35 dollar range, CCI Mini Mags were $14.28 and 500 rounds of Remington Thunderbolt .22's was $49.50.
This was all before the 10 % discount. I fell his prices are very reasonable for the times. He has a good bit of 9mm ammo, 40 S&W ammo and others going from $23 to @30 a box.
To me, it was worth the drive and the lunch we had in Solomons. I think he will give the The Tackle Box a run for their money as his stock grows.
