Here is mine... Located on Back Creek, Annapolis.

I've been eyeing a Catalina 42 for a while, family creation has it temporarily on hold. ;)

I work right down the road from you, at ALM.

I'm not a boat owner at the moment and quite ok with it, I don't have time for it with a 2 month old. I grew up in a sailing family though, I've had and raced, opti's, a 420, and a laser. And have done a bunch of racing with my dad on several different boats, right now he has a J80 (26 ft sport-boat).

I also grew up working at a boatyard near the bay bridge on the western shore.

Former Boater, sold it last year.
It was an '03 31' Chaparral
Chaparral's from that decade are crap - was glad to sell it
Any ways, if you are looking for a middle river marina, check out www.sunsetharbor.com, my buddy still has his boat there & the new owners of this boat still keep it there.

Here's mine. My '99 Mariah 182 Shabah. I grew up on the water and this boat was my first major purchase out of college. Towed it around with an 89 Blazer before I got the new truck. Bought it 2 years ago and run all around the lower potomac and Chesapeake Bay. Also have a 1967 Sears aluminun boat trot lining special. I'm looking to upgrade to a 21'-26' fishing boat like a trophy or sailfish in the next 2 years.

Nice Boat ! I also own a Mariah 21 Shabah

Damn rag baggers. :) Yesterday I was out and a guy and his son had capsized a sailboat. They were out sailing in one of the St. Marys Ryken boats and somehow dumped it. I tied a tow rope to it and flipped that sucker right back over. Good times. I told my GF she should have taken pics. Its good to see young kids getting on the water, even if they were in a sailboat lol

The only time I've ever been in a magazine. This was taken sometime around 2001 in the summer when I was still in high school, was published in "What's up? Annapolis" about 4 years later. I had no idea the photo was even taken, but it was cool to see in the magazine!

My friend Emily and I sailing downwind in a 420 with the chute up just outside the Annapolis harbor.

And yes, I had a white guy 'fro for years.

I am sure they were apreciative of the help. It's only the dinghy size that capsize though.

So thank you for helping them out. If you have ever been in that situation, you would understand how precarious it truly is.... It’s not about capability either. In the Caribbean I dumped a SUNFISH and couldn't right it, due to the wind and waves. I have been sailing ALL MY LIFE, I *exhausted myself* and couldn’t climb back aboard. Someone helped me. And that’s good karma. Because the next year, in the middle of the bay, I came upon a tiny fishing boat that had no business being that far out. It was getting late, they had a non-functioning motor, no oars, no lights and no radio. They lived to see another day, even though they were POWER BOATERS.

My fishing boat that we keep down on the eastern shore in Chance / Deal Island area...clean water, very little fishing pressure and beautiful. Gets offshore as well.
