This Severna Park Vietnam Vet apparently does not know the difference between FULLY AUTOMATIC assault weapons and SEMI-AUTO modern sporting rifles. As a vet myself, I cannot believe that someone would fight for the rights of our nation, only to turn around and voluntarily give those rights up. What a waste of service. :sad20:

He then goes on about how politicians are not listening to the majority and are attempting to make laws that they themselves think are for the "benefit" of the citizens. I agree on this point but not in the same way. He attempts to portray that the majority is in favor of gun control and politicians are against while it CLEARLY is the COMPLETE OPPOSITE! :mad54::mad54::mad54:

Fortunately in a republic, the mob is not supposed to rule. The minority is protected by the constitution from the desires of the majority.

You would be surprised how many liberals got drafted and can use that moniker to make them seem relevant. My FIL was drfted and he believes theat most of the Constitution is no longer relevant.

My grandmother's husband (step-grandfather?) was in the USCG during WWII, and climbed to the rank of Rear Admiral. He apparently wrote a personal letter to Obama suggesting he use executive orders to restrict the 2nd Amendment. :sad20:
