i think they were gryo jet weapons. just checked,your right,grro jet gun were uded in other bond movies.More like a speargun that uses air. You can see the newness of this technology in the movie Thunderball circa 1960's.

Sort of. Looks like you cannot use them during muzzle loader season. More analogous to shotguns IMO- same seasons, same game (deer, bear, turkey).
Air guns have always been listed, and must achieve 1200 fps.
To those of us who shoot air guns, "fps" is feet per second, not foot pounds.
I would expect foot pounds to be "ft lbs"
