What is in the pots in the first picture? Surprised that has not been mowed to the ground.Good-sized doe in my mom's yard last Saturday at 3:00 in the afternoon. I buy corn for her to put out and she has a bunch of deer and squirrels that come up to get it. The deer usually come late in the evening or after dark. We were having a birthday party for her and about 10 of us were on the porch, talking and laughing, and the doe is so used to people being there she didn't even care.

Here is another pic of the same deer, but zoomed in so you can see her a little better. There is a doe that hangs around with three fawns and this may be her...I can see her udder is distended.

She ate corn for about 15 minutes before just wandering off. They drink from mom's fishpond almost every evening.
When I lived there as a kid, this was a farm. Deer were very uncommon and we would only see tracks across the fields about once a year. After the old folks died off, they developed the farm (the house in the background is a new neighbor) and now there are deer around all the time.
