I thought the general logic is that cats don't leave claw marks.
Of course...duhMost likely a dog or 'yote based on scale. Felines keep their claws retracted when walking.

I hooked him in the inside of the mouth with a jighead and soft twister tail lure. I netted him and held him down and used needle nose pliers and got my lure back. He was aggressive and came after me before returning to waterDid the turtle swallow the hook?
