MD Legal Sig m400 classic or Colt 6920

I'm fairly new to guns so please bear with me here.

I've been told that either of those ARs could be MD legal as long as they have a heavy barrel (HBAR). If anyone has bought either of them, could you point me in the right direction? TIA

You can still get the 6920 HBPW or the SOCOM.
