Just think for a $5 tax stamp, you could have a pistol with a foregrip :innocent0

$5? I'm not sure I follow. I thought AOW is $200 just like any other NFA item? Either way I don't think I have it in me to wait 5-9 months to use a firearm lol.

It's $200 if you do it yourself, but the assault pistol isn't allowed in MD.

You would have to have a SOT make an AOW for you, and the NFA transfer cost is only $5.00.

Yeah, the 6 month wait sucks! I'm picking up an AOW this week, that was submitted back in October, 2011.

Oh wow, those are on the handgun roster? Interesting. I would think that anything passed by the legislature would overide anything the MSP approves, who I assume is this "board" that decides on the handgun roster.

Bear with me if this is all common knowledge on this subforum, i'm not really a handgun guy.

There are far better options if you're looking for a semi auto 9mm pistol. If you're in the market for a relatively inexpensive pistol, semi auto, 9mm, 30'ish round capacity, square, terrible ergonomics, sketchy sights and a craptastic finish. That sounds sounds like you should be looking at a Glock 17 with a few 33 round mags. Haters gonna hate and I'm no Glock fan, but it would fit the bill and be very reliable.
Skip the Cobray semi auto and head to your favorite Glock shop.

A very logical suggestion. Unfortunately I would be buying the M11 for the sheer novelty of owning a Mac clone, nothing more. No logic allowed here, I want a "gangsta" gun
