took my test there from some darn copper who taught the wear & carry class. Yes you 3paul10. The dude who was behind the register seemed like a donk.

The lady at the register this afternoon was helpful, and reasonably knowledgeable ( at least didn't show any sign of Dis knowledgeable in context ) .

I'm not trying to be snarky . But I am very familiar with 50yd , 25yd , and 50 ft indoor ranges , and this wasn't one of those .

And not a slam on MD A . On those other ranges, 80 % plus of clients shooting handguns , will set targets at 7 yds and in . ( Made up numbers, but pretty close to real world , well suited to current discussion. )

Looks right . I could eyeball that it was at least 10 yd , but didn't look 15yd .
I believe it is 12 or 13yds. I've been downrange there a couple times and counted overhead supports as well as pacing out.

Shameless plug, I actually really like their shop. I've always been treated well and they stock a solid variety. I always check their consignment/used racks and.cases first (straight ahead when entering). There's a sweet 22 target rifle that is calling my name currently.

The lady you spoke with is probably Jess, she's their store manager. Blonde, glasses. Very organized.

Friendly staff. I have used them for transfers and use to frequent the range before their price hike. It is a relatively short distance to really dial anything in. Okay for pistol self defense training.
