MD 29 inch rule

so i have my sbr laying complete on the bench with no muzzle brake and the stock extended. the measurement is 29.25" assuming i measure the threads. Am I in the clear? i only ask because i dont wanna be checked and they come up with their own number. I'm trying to double and triple check.
