Unless Remington has changed UMC or there are different versions, UMC is brass. Got a couple of the 250 packs from Cabelas when they were on sale. It's dirty, for sure, but great plinking ammo, especially for brass cased.

There description says that this ammo "will work well in any high quality 9mm Luger caliber weapon." They're kind of suggesting that one's firearm should be +P capable to be safe. I don't think I'd use it in the standard 9mm Luger.

I do believe Rem has put out nickel plated UMC.
