These are some 66% and 50% less assaulty magazine options for MD residents who may not be able to get to PA, VA, or DE to get standard capacity mags. I have been kinda preparing for MD, and the Congress to eventually put capacity limits on possession of normal magazines, and I do not like the look of the short ones. So, I am preparing in case possession of regular mags is banned and I have to melt down or destroy my assaulty mags by other means.

Yes, I know you can get regular mags elsewhere, this isn't about that. So, these are some magazine options for MD residents that need mags shipped directly to them.

I'll start with the AR10.

Hexmag makes a 10/20 full size 308 polymer mag. It is a full size magazine with a 10 round block in the magazine, and the floorplate is riveted. I took this one up to my buddy's place in PA, and I don't know if it's the acidic air up there from all the mills, or the recoil from the 308, but the rivet sheared off up there. I would probably complain to them about poor quality rivets, but the magazine is still functional.

AR15 Hexmag

Full size mag, limited to 10 rounds by a shorter spring and magazine block snapped on the floorplate. Polymer, in a few different colors. I haven't had any feeding issues with mine, but they don't drop free for me like Pmags, Lancers, or GI mags do.

AK47 mags

These are 2 types of limited capacity magazines for the dreaded AK47, that make it 66% safer.

Type 1 is a magazine that limits capacity to 10 rounds with a rivet that blocks the follower from going down. I sure hope these rivets are stronger than the Hexmag rivet was, or they could be dangerous. I really like them. I got them cheap back when you could buy mags off eBay. I think I got these on clearance around $6 per mag, but I have seen them around 12.99 online. As far as I know they come in 2 colors, black, and fakelite brown, which actually doesn't look half bad.

The 2nd type has a block in the magazine that limits the follower travel and capacity. If you move to a other state though, you can trim it to be a 15, or 20 round magazine as well.
