I am looking at getting into the Martini-Henry game and wanted to get some info from you guys first. Is there anyone here who has one or has shot one before who can give me some insight on them? What should I look for when looking at them and are there models that I should avoid? I found a few MKIV martinis online for around $500. Is that a fair price? any info you may have on these fine riffles would be helpful. I have been watching a lot of youtube videos on them and have read a lot about them in the past few days.

You might also ask for information in the C&R section, lots of old gun collectors there (some even collect old guns).

There are a couple threads going on them in C&R. Always wanted one, tough to support with ammo but not impossible.
