    Hey guys,

I just received the last part for a full magpul moe furniture set, the MVG.

When I was looking over it I noticed what appears to be a defect but I just wanted to check with you guys whether this seems normal or not. Being in customer service for years I hate to complain (especially if this is normal) to customer service. Check out the attached photo.

    Thanks for your help.

I don't think I would worry. Getting a heat source (lighter) close enough to glaze it over would make that blend in better. Don't touch it with the flame. You will get more nicks and scratches on you firearm with use! And may well be normal to the manufacturing process.

    Thanks guys.

I was only curious because the rest of the magpul parts I own are flawless and do not have any mold marks. I am just going to put this on the rifle and enjoy it.

totally normal, it's where they grind off the sprue from the molding process, it's on many of their polymer items including magazines. For some reason there seems to be less on the Emags than on Pmags
