Reads just like Base 10... as you go left, it increases exponentially
1 = 1
10 = 2
11 = 3
100 = 4
101 = 5
etc
1111 in binary would be
1 X 2^3 = 1 X 8 or 8
+
1 X 2^2 = 1 X 4 or 4
+
1 X 2^1 = 1 X 2 or 2
+
1 X 2^0 = 1 X 1 or 1
Total 15
(which in hexadecimal would be F (aka 15 X 16^0)
Okay...
I am going from the days of Networking and creating subnets.
1's and 0's could be converted out from an IP address and determined if the factor of 2 was used or not used.
Sorry. I was doing the math a bit differently. Some refer to it as wrong. I choose different.
