M1A Cheek Rest

I recently scoped my M1A and immediately realized that a repeatable cheek weld had turned into a "lower jaw" weld. The ARMS #18 mount secures the scope nicely, but quite high off the bore axis.

Anyway, I found this strap on cheek rest by "BradleyCheeks" and am really impressed with the construction and design so I thought I would pass it on. There is a piece of foam under the Kydex that keeps it from moving around and it is adjustable from 1/2"-1 1/2". I'm going to order another one for my Rem 700.

Looks good. I've been looking at a few options for a cheek riser for my M1A. Haven't been able to find one I like.

Night Force, 3/4", Titanium alloy.

I was going to repurpose a set of Badger Ordnance rings that came off my former PTR91, but they were a little too high. I like the shape and weight of these.

Thanks. I'm trying to get some ideas together for an M25 build sometime next year when hopefully the gun money tree blooms again. I've got most of the parts except for the barrel and stock.
