M1917 Enfield Question

Really need to find a new bolt assembly for a 1917 enfield. Won't pass headspace. I doubt its the barrel (at least I hope not) because it easily passed when I checked it with a barrel gauge indicating to me that the barrel isn't excessively worn. I'm new to the whole milsurp world. Is my logic way off base? Also where can I find a new bolt?

What gage? It is still safe to shoot if it will pass a military field gage.

Best bet go to a york show or to the big one- forks of the delaware. Bring the rifle and a field gauge, try bolts until you get one that head spaces.
