It's time again for our annual M1 for Vets fund drive. This is an awesome program for very some deserving individuals, so please do what you can to make this the best year ever.

As of last year, M1 for Vets was chartered as a 501 (3) c organization, making donations tax deductable. For tax purposes, you can donate by check and use your canceled check as your receipt. You cannot write off your donation if you donate via the PayPal link on this site. You must donate via check/money order to be able to claim the deduction. For that matter, I am not a tax attorney so I am only relaying what I have been told and cannot confirm its validity. I am only an information relay.

Please direct all questions regarding the organization and the fund drive to member Drmsparks.

You can find more information here: http://www.mdshooters.com/m1vet/

    Thanks!

Donation made. Causes don't really get much better than this in our shooter's community.

Hey guys, we're sitting at $175. Anyone think we can double that this afternoon?

I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to mail checks in order to claim the tax refund. If that is in fact the case I will have to wait for updates from Drmsparks.

Good call, I'd forgotten about that aspect.

I'll do better than bring the last number up to a 0. I make the first number a 3. Drmsparks PM Sent

The $125 check is written, just waiting for info from Drmsparks.
I challenge the other I.P.'s to make a donation!

    Nicely done Mdeng.

Since Don won't take money for advertising on MDS I feel that supporting these charities is the next best thing. It would be nice to see the other Industry Partners do the same.

Oh and I got the info from Drmsparks. The check has been mailed.

Got a call from JJ last night, they are sending a record number of vets from around the country to the Nationals at Camp Perry this year. Almost 30 vets will be shooting with the team!
