Hi, I have a new Ruger SR9 looking for NRA instructor or like to get me started. I belong to Hap Baker, so someone near Westminster would be great. Please reply to me here and I will respond. Thanks very much.

Just what exactly are you looking for? There are several instructors here who offer the NRA Basic and F.I.R.S.T. Steps Pistol classes.

You should look at joining a club.

Arlington is a great club that will help new shooters. We have several NRA instructors in our club that are always willing to help new shooters. Weather you own a firearm or looking to try one we love to share.

    At Wal-Mart, buying more ammo.
Join the military. They will teach you the four fundamentals of basic marksmanship, to include: proper positioning, proper sight picture, breath control, and trigger squeeze. You'll be hitting the target by noon.
